REVIEW DRAFT • Version 1.0 • October 13, 2026
You remain the instructional decision-maker
The proposed school pathway is a tool for teacher-led learning, not an autonomous teacher, accredited course provider, or substitute for school judgment. No pilot approval is asserted. Use synthetic learners until the district authorizes the exact activity.
A suggested lesson routine
Introduce one objective and a question. Model the controls and safe exit. Supervise a bounded exploration or design task. Ask students to explain their evidence or design choices. Assess the explanation against the approved rubric. Offer an equivalent paper, discussion, or accessible digital task. A suggested 40-minute sequence is 5 minutes of introduction, 5 minutes of modeling, 15 minutes of activity, 10 minutes of explanation, and 5 minutes of reflection; this is a planning example, not a required schedule.
Before each session
Check the approved world and lesson versions, permitted routes, adult supervision, current platform eligibility, accessibility supports, and non-game alternative. Confirm that school-mode purchase prompts, advertising, tokens, donations, paid skips, and unapproved content are absent. Do not treat a visible toggle as proof that the complete route is safe.
Assessment and records
XP and badges describe game activity, not academic mastery. Reviewed assessment keys belong in district-controlled access, never public Shopify pages or game client scripts. Keep identifiable student work in the district-approved system. Do not enter student records into public AI tools.
When to stop
Pause for unsafe contact, unexpected commerce, unapproved content, exposure of information, loss of supervision, or an inaccessible task. Move to the alternative, preserve minimal non-sensitive evidence, and use the school's incident process. Technical support and district contacts must be assigned before a pilot.
DOCUMENT ADDENDUM 1.2 · October 14, 2026 · Public information and proposals
Philosophy in action in a lesson
Ask learners to describe an idea, test it, explain the result and revise it. Record learning with the approved rubric, not purchases, XP or time online. The research lineage is background for design, not evidence that this particular lesson works.
Keep a brief dated record of the lesson version, what was delivered, access barriers, unexpected behavior, learner explanations and the next change. Report failures as well as successes without placing identifiable student records in public logs.
