GOLDSTON FAMILY OFFICE / STUDENT ENROLLMENT
Every student starts with a family office.
During enrollment, the Goldston Family Office will launch a family-office program for every enrolled SydTek student. Each student begins with a private, family-controlled workspace for learning, opportunity, and long-term stewardship. For minors, the launch is led by a parent or guardian.
Included with enrollment. The Family Office Launch has no separate setup fee. It applies to confirmed SydTek student enrollments across Scholars, University, Seminary, and Saints, with age-appropriate support. A book purchase, website visit, or interest inquiry alone is not an enrollment.
What the Goldston Family Office will launch
Family charter and roles
Name the student, guardian where applicable, family decision makers, and the people permitted to review records.
Goals and season budget
Set learning, athletic, creative, and service goals alongside a family budget, team costs, and review dates.
NIL and intellectual-property register
Record approved work, authorship, name, image, likeness, voice, and the rights the family controls.
Permissions and opportunity tracker
Keep each proposed use, agreement, duration, fee, expense, revenue split, and approval together.
Income and expense record
Use a simple ledger for agreed earnings, costs, distributions, and supporting records. A ledger entry is not a payment.
Family handoff
Review access, give the family its launch pack, and agree who maintains it. Launch includes setup and orientation; ongoing professional administration is separately scoped.
WEB4 + NAME, IMAGE AND LIKENESS
Build a record of the work. Keep control of the rights.
Within SydTek, Web4 describes the connection between learning, authorship, permissions, family governance, and transparent records. NIL means name, image, and likeness. The family-office program turns those ideas into an organized record the student and family can understand.
Student work, sport highlights, books, music, testimony, and permitted voice contributions can be recorded with their creator, approved uses, and agreed terms. A public portfolio is optional and uses only approved material. Student finances, contracts, contact information, and private family records stay out of public pages and game worlds.
Enrollment does not transfer a student's NIL or other intellectual property to SydTek or the Goldston Family Office. Every commercial opportunity requires its own written scope, consent, expenses, payment terms, and any revenue split before work begins. For minors, the appropriate guardian approvals and applicable school, league, state, and platform requirements must be checked.
Voice recordings require specific permission for the proposed use. AI training, voice cloning, and synthetic-persona rights require separate, explicit permissions; ordinary enrollment does not grant them. No token purchase, crypto wallet, or blanket future-rights assignment is required to enroll.
There is no guaranteed sponsorship, income, recruiting result, or token payout. A family-office record supports decisions and accountability; it does not create a deal or execute a payment.
Launched during enrollment
- Confirm the program. Review the actual cohort, sport, dates, price, and enrollment terms.
- Choose family access. Confirm the adult learner or guardian and the permissions appropriate to the student.
- Build the launch pack. The Goldston Family Office sets up the charter, goals, budget, rights register, and opportunity tracker.
- Review and hand over. The family approves its records, receives the pack, and agrees a review date.

A family-controlled start
The launch is an educational and administrative service. It does not by itself form a company or trust, open a bank or custodial account, or provide investment management, legal advice, or tax advice. Those services require a separate agreement with an appropriately qualified professional.
Each student's launch belongs to that student's family. Unrelated student families are not combined into a single investment pool or represented as one exempt single-family investment office.
Created by Dr. Justin Goldston
Goldston's PhD in Management from Walden University and his research on enterprise-system implementation inform the program's emphasis on practical systems, clear roles, and traceable records. His North Carolina A&T baseball background also connects the learning model to the athlete experience.
The online pathway brings systems thinking, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, athlete education, and responsible authorship into the SydTek learning vision. Program details and credential status are stated separately for each course. Founder credentials do not confer accreditation on SydTek.

What the SEC family-office rule means
SEC Rule 202(a)(11)(G)-1 excludes a qualifying family office from the Investment Advisers Act definition of an investment adviser. The office must advise only eligible family clients about securities, be wholly owned by family clients and exclusively controlled by family members or family entities, and not publicly present itself as an investment adviser. The rule defines those terms and includes additional conditions.

The SydTek launch is an educational and administrative family workspace. Enrollment does not establish that a family qualifies for this exclusion or create SEC approval. Each family’s circumstances and any proposed investment services require their own qualified professional review.
