Wallet & Robinhood Chain: Safety-First Onboarding

ENOCH WORLD · Christ Calling · SOP 01

Learn wallets. Protect your keys.

A safety-first introduction to self-custody wallets and Robinhood Chain. Start by observing, then use an empty practice wallet and testnet only if you choose.

Version 1.0 · Sources checked October 21, 2026 · Recheck official network details before every session.

Your participation is never tied to a wallet. No wallet, token, purchase, deposit, or donation is required for baptism, an audition, event participation, or these lessons. This educational guide does not create a Robinhood account or connect your wallet.

1. Choose your starting point

Observe first · lowest exposure

Read the guide, watch the demonstration when available, and explore public transaction records. You can complete the learning activity without installing anything.

Optional hands-on practice

For ENOCH-facilitated sessions, wallet creation is for adults 18+. Younger learners can observe with a guardian. Use your own updated device and a private space.

2. Know which product you are opening

Robinhood Wallet is a self-custody wallet: you control its recovery credentials. It is separate from the main Robinhood brokerage app. Robinhood Chain is the network, and it has both a mainnet and a testnet. Testnet tokens have no monetary value. See Robinhood Wallet FAQs and Robinhood Chain support.

Begin from the wallet vendor’s official website, then follow its app-store or extension-store link. Avoid sponsored search results, direct-message links, or a QR code you cannot verify. For this workshop, use a new empty practice wallet with its own recovery phrase; do not import your savings or business wallet.

Robinhood Wallet supports Robinhood Chain. Follow its official setup instructions to create a wallet and enable device protection. For the testnet exercise below, use a compatible EVM wallet that supports custom networks, such as MetaMask from its official website. Do not assume an app supports this testnet just because it supports the mainnet.

3. Back up privately-before practice

Make the wallet’s recovery backup yourself, in private. For this workshop, use a handwritten offline backup stored securely. Never photograph it, record it, project it, or paste it into a website, email, chat, AI tool, or support form. Never use a phrase supplied by another person. Staff must step away from the screen during backup and must never hold your credentials or operate the wallet for you.

A recovery phrase can restore control of the wallet; losing it can mean losing access. Neither ENOCH staff nor wallet support can recreate it for you. Review the official recovery guidance. If you cannot make a private, reliable backup, remain in observation mode.

4. Select the practice network

Open the wallet’s network settings and follow the vendor’s custom-network instructions. Compare every field below with the official Robinhood network table immediately before adding it.

Practice network: Robinhood Chain Testnet
Chain ID
46630
RPC URL
https://rpc.testnet.chain.robinhood.com
Currency symbol
ETH - test ETH on this network
Block explorer
explorer.testnet.chain.robinhood.com

Stop if the chain ID is different, the wallet reports a mismatch, or the source cannot be verified. A familiar name or the symbol ETH alone does not identify the correct network.

Recognize mainnet so you do not select it accidentally

Robinhood Chain mainnet uses chain ID 4663, RPC https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com/, currency ETH, and robinhoodchain.blockscout.com. Mainnet can involve assets of real value. It is outside this introductory practice session. Source: official network configuration.

5. Obtain free test units-or keep observing

Use the official Robinhood Chain testnet faucet, linked from Robinhood support. Review what it requests before continuing. A faucet does not need your recovery phrase or private key. Your public address and activity may be visible to others.

Check the selected network again. If the faucet is unavailable, eligibility is unclear, or a step asks you to buy or bridge real assets, stop and use observation mode. Do not pay a third party for test tokens or “activation.”

6. Optional: make one small testnet transfer

  1. Use two practice addresses that you control. Share no recovery credentials.
  2. Copy the destination from the receiving wallet yourself. Compare the complete address after pasting; do not choose an address from transaction history.
  3. Confirm Robinhood Chain Testnet · 46630, test ETH, a small amount, and the displayed testnet fee. Leave enough test ETH for the fee.
  4. Read the wallet’s confirmation yourself. This exercise needs no token-spending approval, unlimited allowance, unknown contract call, or blind signature. Reject anything you do not understand.
  5. After sending, open the transaction in the testnet explorer. Match the network, recipient, amount, and receipt status. Pending is not success; a transaction hash alone is not proof of completion. Do not retry a pending transfer blindly.

7. Finish and know when to stop

Lock the wallet and close the session. Disconnect any sites you connected. Disconnecting does not revoke existing token-spending approvals. Revocation is a separate on-chain action that may require gas. See MetaMask’s approval guidance.

If a recovery phrase was exposed, stop using that wallet and never fund it. If real assets are already involved, use the wallet provider’s official support promptly. Do not send assets to a “safe wallet” supplied by a stranger or pay a recovery fee. For Robinhood, use in-app support or robinhood.com/contact. Its scam guidance says support will never request passwords, recovery phrases, 2FA codes, or remote access.

Before any future real-money use: pause for a separate decision about custody, loss, fees, network support, and the provider’s eligibility rules. This guide does not enroll you in a brokerage account, recommend an investment, promise returns, or authorize staff to move funds.

Facilitator checklist

  • Check official links and network settings on the day; pause the exercise if they change.
  • Offer observation mode throughout. Never make a wallet a condition of spiritual or community participation.
  • Use only fictional names and an empty test wallet on the demonstration screen. Do not livestream wallet creation or recovery.
  • Have participants handle their own devices. Never collect recovery phrases, private keys, passwords, or 2FA codes.
  • Do not collect wallet addresses with baptism, testimony, or audition records. No attendance ledger goes on-chain.
  • Record only an operational issue if needed, without wallet secrets or sensitive participant details. Stop at uncertainty and use official support.

Watch the walkthrough

The video will be added here. The written SOP is available now.

Planned walkthrough: verify official sources → create an empty practice wallet privately → select testnet 46630 → obtain free test ETH → review a small test transfer → verify the receipt → lock the wallet. Recovery screens, passwords, PINs, and personal balances must never appear. Include captions, a transcript, and the recording date.
