Current Contact delivery

The form posts to Shopify’s native /contact route, using form_type=contact. The store’s configured contact inbox receives submissions. Stable field names make later controlled migration possible; an applicant’s form is not published on this website.

Future private collection

The proposed collector will accept the application payload only after validation and abuse checks. Store applicant details in a private, access-controlled data store. Keep the collector code, schema and workflow in a private repository; use opaque application IDs and minimal status records there. Raw applicant details and resumes should not become permanent Git history.

Before enabling collection: assign a responsible reviewer, approve retention and deletion procedures, restrict access, configure server-side challenge verification, rate limits, deduplication and an auditable receipt. An HTTP success response must follow durable storage, not just a button click. The public Contact route remains the current delivery path until a tested replacement is deployed.

This contract defines the future normalized payload. It is not evidence that Shopify enforces all these limits on the server. The current form uses browser validation and Shopify’s native contact protection. The future collector must enforce this schema and the role-institution mapping on the server.

Automation and spam controls

Shopify hCaptcha protects compatible native contact forms when enabled. Contact message spam filtering examines contact[body]; flagged messages may still arrive with [SPAM] in the subject. Route these to a review folder rather than automatically deleting potential applications. Do not stack a second third-party CAPTCHA on the native Shopify form.

For a future custom collector, add server-side token verification, request limits, field allowlists, duplicate controls and human review. AI may help organize consented records within the approved private workflow; it must not publish applications or invent credentials. Public role data and private applicant data must remain separate.

x402 and future agent access

x402 can support payment for a deliberately configured content or API endpoint. It is not a spam blocker and it is not active on this application form. Applicant data must never be the paid scraping product. This catalogue currently remains publicly readable; any future licensed ecosystem content service needs its own rights, pricing, protected delivery and payment verification.
